Yeah I miss this franchise instead of leaving us that steaming turd called Operation Raccoon City maybe Capcom could Channel some Energy to a Dino Crisis Remake. you know go back to the roots of this underrated franchise like what they did for Resident Evil on gamecube.

Since their releasing Jurassic World in 2015 I think the time is right for a new Dino Crisis.

I have that game as well as the first sequel. I love them both.

Mmmm yeah I'm getting back into some golden oldies too. Dino Crisis 1 was hard. But Dino Crisis 2 had great action. I particularly liked the second half of the game when you got the bigger guns and there were the long necked underwater dinos everywhere (the noise they made cracked me up lol). It had some great mini-games. Not to mention a great story. I still really want a Dino Crisis 4 so I can find out what happened to Regina.

They are of my time (n64, ps1, dreamcast...) OMIGOD did DC had so many codes/numbers to remember! And it seemed to never end. DC2 was was kinda arcade-like huh? And i guess "easier" in that you could rack up major points and buy the sweat stuff (as you said with the guns) and not have to eventually find it as in normal games.

Notice how we skip DC3...

Yeah, the end of DC2 was left open. I would like another as well (as long as they don't slaughter or drag on the franchise). Dino Stalker is like part of the DC series though, or was originally going to be.

DC3 was 'ok' but I don't think they should have classed it as part of the series. I have to say I really hated the more ape like dinos. :( The only good bit was the nice graphics and cutscenes, (lol that they couldn't use real time shadows... those circle shadows look real out of place when you pay attention to them). They should of had more extras and unlockables. DC1 had heaps of outfits and different endings, even though I never unlocked them all... I'll have to have another go. Overall DC3 was pretty disappointing. But if you hadn't played 1 and 2, it might have seemed quite good. I was still waiting for Regina to pop out somewhere. But alas... it didn't happen.

I don't know how they'd do DC4. I suppose in all truth you could imagine that she goes into the portal and saves them all so really none of DC2 happened. So then there'd be no need for DC4. If you get my drift. Time traveling is confusing lol. Still I would have liked some more cutscene at least. Darn cliffhanger endings that expect you to 'imagine' the ending. There are too many games with cliffhangers that will never get resolved. :'( It is so sad. They either get a better franchise or run out of money. But Capcom is doing great... maybe they will bring back Regina... and make her better than ever. *crosses fingers* Pretty please.

(sorry for the late reply)
The whole DC3 premises just seemed pretty random, if you get me. Which happens i guess. I've never played it (didn't have an xbox) but it didn't seem to have any attachment to the first two.
I doubt they'll be a DC4, if not for a loooong time. I don't know if theres much use reviving something that people aren't interested in anymore. But the cliffhanger, like you said, just has me drooling for more!

Ever play Dino Stalker?

Well Capcom is doing well. So who knows. Reviving a new franchise sometimes works wonders. I liked Prince of Persia the sands of time and it was a re-imagining of an old school computer game. And Ninja Gaiden that was a re-imagining. It's not even really about the fan base, (well I know I wasn't a fan of either of those games, didn't even know the previous ones existed), but about what they could do with the franchise.

Yeah DC3 didn't really have a connection. The dinos weren't even technically dinos. And the third energy thing was just a engine or something in a huge room. (Huge rooms = big enemy to fight). I have to admit even though it isn't connected really to the rest I did enjoy it. I actually played it through several times. I had it down to a T. I knew I could finish it in like 7 hours flat. lol. I don't have a lot of other stuff to do. The only major annoyance is the camera. And the disconnection from the series. I sold mine because I was annoyed that it didn't continue the story, plus I had been soo excited about it for ages prior. So I was kind of stung. But I'm going to re-buy the game. Now that I'm an obsessive collector and all. Only seems fitting. :p

Never played Dino Stalker. Isn't it like a light gun game or something. Like one long version of one of the mini shooting games in DC2. Can't wait for my re-bought copy of DC2 arrrives. It's my fave in the series. :) Big guns, lots of dinos, lots of action. :) DC1 is a tad hard. lol. And scary! I'm one of those people that gets a scare even if the fright is totally expected, and even more so if it isn't. lol. Fright games are soo much fun with another person. I love having a laugh over a good fright. I remember playing DC1 with a friend. I had been in the head dude's office prior. Now she was playing, (we used to take turns :) ), and she went in there (I musn't have gone near the window before), but she did. The T-rex head came busting in and scared the poop out of her. So funny. Those were good times.

You made me all reminiscent. lol. Sorry for the long comment.
