I have that game as well as the first sequel. I love them both.

Yes, and i still play them. The first is quite puzzley, and i like the reloading/resupplying system of the second. I LOVE OLD GAMES.

Mmmm yeah I'm getting back into some golden oldies too. Dino Crisis 1 was hard. But Dino Crisis 2 had great action. I particularly liked the second half of the game when you got the bigger guns and there were the long necked underwater dinos everywhere (the noise they made cracked me up lol). It had some great mini-games. Not to mention a great story. I still really want a Dino Crisis 4 so I can find out what happened to Regina.

They are of my time (n64, ps1, dreamcast...) OMIGOD did DC had so many codes/numbers to remember! And it seemed to never end. DC2 was was kinda arcade-like huh? And i guess "easier" in that you could rack up major points and buy the sweat stuff (as you said with the guns) and not have to eventually find it as in normal games.

Notice how we skip DC3...

Yeah, the end of DC2 was left open. I would like another as well (as long as they don't slaughter or drag on the franchise). Dino Stalker is like part of the DC series though, or was originally going to be.

DC3 was 'ok' but I don't think they should have classed it as part of the series. I have to say I really hated the more ape like dinos. :( The only good bit was the nice graphics and cutscenes, (lol that they couldn't use real time shadows... those circle shadows look real out of place when you pay attention to them). They should of had more extras and unlockables. DC1 had heaps of outfits and different endings, even though I never unlocked them all... I'll have to have another go. Overall DC3 was pretty disappointing. But if you hadn't played 1 and 2, it might have seemed quite good. I was still waiting for Regina to pop out somewhere. But alas... it didn't happen.

I don't know how they'd do DC4. I suppose in all truth you could imagine that she goes into the portal and saves them all so really none of DC2 happened. So then there'd be no need for DC4. If you get my drift. Time traveling is confusing lol. Still I would have liked some more cutscene at least. Darn cliffhanger endings that expect you to 'imagine' the ending. There are too many games with cliffhangers that will never get resolved. :'( It is so sad. They either get a better franchise or run out of money. But Capcom is doing great... maybe they will bring back Regina... and make her better than ever. *crosses fingers* Pretty please.

(sorry for the late reply)
The whole DC3 premises just seemed pretty random, if you get me. Which happens i guess. I've never played it (didn't have an xbox) but it didn't seem to have any attachment to the first two.
I doubt they'll be a DC4, if not for a loooong time. I don't know if theres much use reviving something that people aren't interested in anymore. But the cliffhanger, like you said, just has me drooling for more!

Ever play Dino Stalker?
