Bear with me. I'm all over the place on this one. It's a good vent session.
There is more to the animal world than just your dogs, cats, and horses. Reptiles need our love just as much as them. Just 'cause they are not "appealing" and seem to be seen as something bad. EDUCATE yourself. Don't be all, "Eww, reptiles are gross 'cause... uh... reptiles are gross..." Ya know? THEY ARE NOT VERMIN. THEY ARE NOT KILLERS. Don't categorize them as being brainless, un-evolved, nasty, slimy, man-eaters, that are even seen as some kinda Satan spawn. More people are bitten by your "harmless" domestic dog then poisonous snakes (along with big cats, bears, and wolves COMBINED). I suppose geckos are lucky 'cause they can be sooooo damn cute. Don't forget the rest! They all have personalities, likes, dislikes, just like any other animal. They can suffer, feel pain, and this should not be overlooked.
